Announcing 10th Annual WALK for Hope TO BENEFIT ALEXANDRA HOUSE
Blaine, MN 7/29/2014 — Alexandra House will hold the 10th Annual Walk for Hope on Saturday, September 27, 2014, at Bunker Hills Regional Park in Coon Rapids. The Walk for Hope is a family and pet friendly event that includes a 5K run, a 2-mile walk, activities for children, displays and information for the whole community. Last year, nearly 500 community members participated in the event, raising over $30,000 to support Alexandra House programs and services.
Event registration is $25 for adults and $10 for children ages 5-18 (prices increase by $5 after 9/15). Kids under five attend free. Participants can pre-register online at www.alexandrahouse.org, or register the day of the event. Registration opens at 8:00 am, and the event kick-off begins at 9:20 am followed by the 5K run / 2M walk at 9:30 am.
