MNDot - Highway 36 Bridge over Lexington Avenue Open House

Roseville area business owners are invited to learn about replacement of the Highway 36 bridge crossing Lexington Avenue and other work on Highway 36 in Roseville this year at an open house scheduled for Feb. 9.
The informal open house will be held from 4 – 7 p.m. at the MnDOT Metro District offices, 1500 West County Road B-2 in Roseville, Minn.
The Highway 36 project is scheduled to being this April and includes replacement of the current structurally deficient Highway 36 bridge with two new bridges to carry eastbound and westbound Hwy 36 traffic. MnDOT also will reconstruct and resurface the ramps at Lexington Avenue and the westbound ramps at Hamline Avenue, rebuild and resurface Highway 36 between Hamline Avenue and Victoria Street and replace the two signal systems at the Lexington Avenue ramps. Lexington Avenue will be closed at Highway 36 and detoured for up to five months during the project.
The project will improve driver safety and accessibility; lessen congestion, provide smoother road surfaces and extend the service life of Highway 36 and the bridges at Lexington Avenue.
