May 3    ISO 9001:2015 Transition Strategies for Your Organization
Join us for this seminar to learn what’s new in ISO Standards as relative to the updates published in fall of 2015. The new standards include two new elements: risk management and context of the organization. If you are currently ISO 9001:2008 certified, this session will provide you with an overview of strategies to make the transition to 2015. 2008 certified organizations are allowed a three-year transition period. Our seminar examines suggested guidelines for a phased transition over this three-year period, as well as how to implement new procedures and modify existing ones.

May 19    Legislative Breakfast - Meet John Connelly
MEET JOHN CONNELLY

Twin Cities North Chamber President

We're starting a new era for the Chamber with a special legislative breakfast dedicated to welcoming John and helping him get to know the membership.

The board is extremely excited about John's leadership of the Chamber as well as his vision for Twin Cities North. However, John can't accomplish our goals on his own. We need input! We're encouraging members to attend this month's Legislative breakfast and show John that you support him, and look forward to helping him grow and improve your Chamber.

We're also inviting the mayors and city managers from the communities we serve, our state representatives, county commissioners, and Met Council representatives. So, in addition to meeting John, you'll have an opportunity to talk with your elected officials in a casual, friendly setting.

Many of you may know John from his years with the National Sports Center and tireless work to improve the business climate in our area. But, if you haven't had the chance to meet him yet, the Legislative breakfast is your first opportunity. He is looking forward to connecting with as many members as possible during this meeting.

RESERVE YOUR SPOT NOW - SEATING IS LIMITED!

Via the chamber's role of "Business Advocacy" the chamber hosts these gatherings to bring public officials and the business community together to explore collaboration, to learn from each other, and to air issues of concern which impact Minnesota's business climate.
