Jul 10    Tacos for Tires! Monday Fundraiser Night at Casa Rio
Well, not just tires… Casa Rio will donate a portion of the proceeds from the evening to support neighbors in need of car repair services. Enjoy their famous taco bar and chocolate dessert fountain while supporting Cars for Neighbors! Cost is $9 per adult, and $5 for kids.

Discover the Power of Play and Adventure Parks with New Brighton Parks & Recreation

On Tuesday, July 18, you can experience the Power of Play and Adventure at New Brighton’s Hansen Park Neighborhood Center from 6:00 pm-8:00 pm. Children and adults alike will bust a groove with an interactive DJ from KidsDance, explore a firetruck, partake in structured games and activities hosted by the Parks & Recreation department and try on a new bike helmet – sponsored by VIPS (Volunteers in Public Safety).

Parks & Recreation will help you rediscover your inner child as families come together to celebrate the 32nd anniversary of Park & Recreation month - an annual event created by the National Recreation and Park Association (NRPA) and celebrated in July since 1985. For children and adults, play is a vital part of our mental wellbeing, physical health and personal interactions.

Jul 21    Standard First Aid Class - FREE
This life-saving class is designed for anyone who wants, or needs, to learn how to respond to an emergency situation. This course certifies individuals in First Aid, and is valid for two years. Topics covered in this HeartCert American Heart Association certification course include: Recognition and treatment for heart attacks, stroke, diabetic emergencies, allergic reactions as well as first aid treatments to wounds, fractures, burns and other common injuries.

Coffee and Connections  is a causal networking group that meets each month to connect and learn more about the business community. Each meeting features open networking over coffee, a featured guest speaker, and time for each attendee to give a 60 second business commercial and exchange referrals.
